*Online Premiere* Two young women reflect on their relationship amidst the moody grey atmospheres of November in Poland. Directed by Tanmay Chowdhary, “Color of November,” is an evocative portrait of a place and a time, of identity and memory. Though we’re introduced to the couple gleefully dancing in their apartment, their lives seem tinted with uncertainty. Smoking cigarettes on the balcony, or riding in a bus to go drinking at a bar, they alternate between affection and resentment, often communicated with a sparse voiceover, but just as prevalently through body language and facial expressions. A hybrid of experimental narrative and documentary realism, it’s a poetic exploration, a series of quiet, observant images; evocative tableaus of light and stillness playing against the internal restlessness of discontented youth.
