*World Premiere* A poetic meditation on the estranged relationship between a half brother and sister after the passing of their mother. Wonderful performances from Imogen Poots and Ben Rosenfield lead the way, along with nicely restrained direction from Jack Turits.
Grace arrives in a cab while Adam watches from a second story window. Over the course of the day, they get to know one another for the first time. Two fragile souls in different stages of grief. They aren’t quite sure where to start, or how to feel about one other. Adam tries his best to accommodate while Grace acquaints with a new place. The tension quietly grows and unleashes in an oddly powerful scene where the two dance together in the living room.
Built around the vulnerability of the two leads and the space between their words, it’s an earnest and emotionally raw portrait of family that doesn’t feel like family. They don’t speak much but their body language and their eyes say plenty. NoBudge is happy to present Have Had as a World Premiere. (16 minutes). Directed by Jack Turits. Written by Jack Turits & Ben Rosenfield. Starring Imogen Poots and Ben Rosenfield.
