*Online Premiere* Logline: After living in solitude for years, an aging woman finds her daily routine interrupted by the appearance of a mysterious hole in her apartment floor. Our take: “Hole,” by director Aleksandra Hansen, is a lighthearted gothic fairy tale about a woman addicted to TV shopping while being haunted by her past. Her life is an endless stream of light chores and fleeting excitement from new purchases delivered to her home, but she’s starting to hear sounds, and see strange sights. Hansen’s film works because of the details: the energetic performance of the saleswoman on the TV shopping network, the crude, mixed media visuals, and a loony final sequence. [Watch on YouTube].
