A house full of men with nothing to talk about. To boot, no one seems to know each other or whose house they're in, or whether the NY Giants game from the 1980's is being broadcast via Cable or Dish. An unbelievably funny exposé on men's small talk, which takes every little moment of social awkwardness & magnifies it to absurdity. The men gather for the obligatory fire-building, bird-watching and game of touch football & nowhere to be found are any woman, nor is there any explanation of their absence. Can't overstate how much I love this movie. Could have watched it for 5 hours. Directed by Tom Levin. Written by George Kareman, Pat O'Brien, and Ben Wietmarschen. Watch on YouTube here. (20 minutes) (originally posted July 2014).
