After smoking too much weed, Matt attempts a trip to the movies with a friend, but his altered perception of time and reality causes a series of stoner gaffes. Hilariously played by co-writer/director Matt Ingebretson, the bleary protagonist finds himself struggling with even the most straightforward tasks like ordering popcorn only once and remaining in the theater during the show. When he can’t accomplish the later, he’s met with a trash-picking gentleman (played by Fred Willard) who relays an old story about a cat named Royal who may have instructed its owner to commit suicide. The absurd logic piles up and is delivered with surreal precision. Bottom line: a high-grade stoner comedy. Ingebretson previously directed "What A Nice Party", (we featured in 2015) and along with Pat Bishop and Jake Weisman, created the upcoming Comedy Central series, “Corporate”. (9 minutes). Oh Damn premiered at Tribeca 2017.
