*Online Premiere* A young woman spirals into darkness following the death of her mother. Set against a desolate Nordic backdrop, “Outline,” directed by Anna Fredrikke Bjerke, is a minimalist character study tracking the grief of Thea over the course of a couple rocky days. Only when she arrives at her mom’s country home does she realize the full emotional toll she’s in for. Alone and vulnerable, she takes stock of the place and tries to keep it together. But before long, she’s burrowing into self-destructive behavior. Punctuated with moments of rousing style, as when at a local bar, an older woman dances exuberantly by herself to a rock song, it’s an affecting portrait of inner turmoil, enriched by picturesque visuals, and a terrific performance by Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas.
