A Person Named Universal Love
A strange and hostile girl is visited by universal love in its personified form. Ava Hase directs “A Person Named Universal Love,” a dark comedy series that looks at a young woman’s relationship with a persistent, unconditionally loving being. Universal Love, played by Oscar Falcon, comes knocking at the door of "The Girl" one afternoon. Despite pouring his heart out with open arms, as he seems to have done relentlessly for a while now, "The Girl" tells him to get lost. After making him do some humiliating tasks before banishing him yet again, Universal Love immediately amps himself up for another knock. Spanning over four episodes, we observe "The Girl" and her unraveling relationship with the persistent abstract being, Universal Love. -JM. Writer, director: Ava Hase. Cast: Oscar Falcon, Ava Hase.
