A surreal fever-dream about the isolation and suffocation of the quarantine experience. “6FT.,” directed by Francesca Pazniokas, is a visually striking experimental film brimming with colorful textures and vivid soundscapes. Stuck at home for days on end, a figure goes about their life constricted to a series of skin-tight suits covering their whole body and face. Craving connection or intimacy — the figure is shown tangled up in telephones and caressing a mannequin — they soon reach a breaking point. Last year, we featured Pazniokas with “Rules of the Game,” a similarly imaginative series of images ripe with abstract meaning and metaphor. -KA. Director: Francesca Pazniokas.
