An aspiring actress tries to make it to her first audition after getting in a fight with her best friend. This raw student film directed by Michael .T (the period goes before the T!) is endearingly ‘of its age,’ a rough-around-the-edges snapshot of a young woman and her messy relationships and aspirations. Erika has no way to get to her audition after being kicked out of her friend’s car for questioning some of her personal decisions. She heads to the dorm room of another friend where she must pretend to be interested in his film ideas long enough to highjack his bike (spoiler: she escapes while he’s getting Sour Patch Kids from the other room). The low-key drama is notable for its convincing cast and naturalistic performances, as well as subtle moments of style and humor. -KA. Directed by Michael .T. DOP: Andrew Agnes & Marcus Jimenez. Editor: Michael .T & Marcus Jimenez. Producer: Marcus Jimenez & Toki Chavez. Sound: Rayza Carrasco, Estarlyn Hiraldo, Andrew Agnes & Olivrr Trill. Cast: Erika Rivera, Natasha Ocasio, Eric Rivera, Gerald Liriano, Jayden Franco, Rayza Carrasco & Jahmo Chavez.
