After getting on the "dance cam" at a professional sporting event, a man loses his mind and sense of reality. Jack Solomon’s “Jumbotron” is an absurd comedy about the unexpected havoc sparked by a simple moment of crowd participation. Drew watches a hockey game with his co-worker Michelle. He’s spotted on the Jumbotron and decides to break out some moves. The crowd cheers, and the dance cam lingers, and lingers, and lingers. Drew is more than ready to stop but the anonymous announcer wants more. Escaping the arena, he’s unable to shake the curse and is forced into extreme behavior. Through the gimmick of a mystic camera, the film amusingly tests the limits of how far to take a gag. -JM. Director: Jack Solomon. Cast: Alex Whittington, Jenny Austin. Executive Producer: Joe Packheiser. Producer: Max George. DP: Holt Babcock. Sound Mixer: Scott Graham. Production Designer: Jessica Segal . Composer: Jason "Greazy Keyz" Atkins, Spencer Killette.
