Two buds take a weekend getaway to address one of their major personal problems; meanwhile, four girls have double-booked the same Airbnb. In Michael Rees’ “His Parents Never Taught Him,” we watch a misunderstanding unfold between hyperactive personalities of colliding friend groups. Kyle and Liam are already bickering on the way to the AirBnb. It’s clear Liam doesn’t want anything to do with Kyle’s intentions. Already at the AirBnb are a group of girls kicking it by the pool in complete relaxation, assuming they have the space all to themselves. When the boys arrive, the ladies shout in dismay and frantically call the host to get to the bottom of it. With an assembly of some of the freshest faces in online comedy circles (Veronika Slowikowska, Kyle Chase, Delaney Rowe, et al), Rees delivers another off-kilter portrait of strange behavior and idiosyncratic friendship. -JM.
