Birthday
Featuring Colin Burgess

Two grown men compete to be the most childish at a friend’s birthday party. Director Tynan Delong, known for his gloriously adolescent dispatches from Brooklyn apartments, has crafted his most adolescent yet, aimed directly at the stupid teenage boy in all of us. (If you don’t have that side, I wouldn’t recommend this short). Frequent collaborator, Colin Burgess, is behind the camera, playing a friend recording Gorden’s would-be enjoyable birthday celebration. While the grown-ups try to enjoy a civilized evening, Tynan and Lucas (played by director Delong and Lucas Gardner) bounce around the room giggling at ridiculously unfunny jokes (“there’s a shark in the chips!!”) and competing to record the most generic birthday greeting. (“hey, can I get another take of my birthday video?”). The girls and Gorden (Maya Sharma, Kelly Cooper, Sally Burtnick, and Rajat Suresh) provide the eye rolls of reason — their straight-faced attempts to defuse the boys rivalry to be the dumbest person there, is pure comedy.
Written, Directed & Edited by Tynan DeLong. Shot by Colin Burgess. Starring Tynan DeLong, Lucas Gardner, Colin Burgess, Rajat Suresh, Maya Sharma, Kelly Cooper, and Sally Burtnick.

First of all, it’s not a typo. That's the actual name of the movie. Got it? Okay, so the movie is about a group of friends trying to remake "The Matrix" in a Brooklyn apartment. They take the harebrained scheme very seriously though every element of the production is utterly unconvincing, from th...
