Meet the Director: Jaelyn Ellis ("Girlhood")
Meet the Director
•
Drama, Short Films, 09-Sep-2022
Jaelyn is a recent graduate of Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts and is currently based in London. Her only goal is to direct and produce movies for and about Black girls. Literally. That’s it. She particularly enjoys the coming of age and horror genres for their often shared explorations of femininity and sexuality. Outside of filmmaking, she is a true crime connoisseur, a better than average and slowly improving roller skater, and a less than average plant mom.
