An artist is interviewed about her photos in this delightfully dry comedy starring Ana Fabrega and Ike Ufomadu. Directed by Graham Mason, “The Photos of Ana” is a subtle jab at the often cliche-ridden manner in which the artist speaks about their work. Ana’s photographs are perfectly suited for use as generic stock photos, but are discussed as if they were serious works of art with hidden layers of meaning. Fabrega and Ufomadu are both incredibly funny in their roles as serious-minded artist and interviewer. Their stilted chemistry is a marvel to behold and the simplicity of the short allows them free reign. Fabrega can also be seen in “Sneakers” (posted here earlier this week) and Mason also directed “Monkey and Man”, which we featured last October. Can't wait to see more from all involved. Written and directed by Graham Mason. Featuring Ana Fabrega and Ike Ufomadu. Director of Photography: Chris Teague. Original Music by Jason Klauber.
