When a musician named Reid arrives to record an album in Edward’s home studio, her presence unsettles Liv - now forced to compete for her husband’s attention. Cerezo’s film is handled with simplicity and wit, tonally comparable to his 2018 short, “A Bride and a Groom,” about a woman born literally wearing a wedding dress. -KA.
